U.S. Citizen buying a home in Canada, mortgage credit.?
I want to buy a house in Canada, however my credit is a bit messy. I'm working on cleaning up, but still not completely repaired. Not enough to qualify for a mortgage in the U.S.. But I am moving to lock in January and with the hope of buying a house there. Do I need my credit repaired before he can buy a house or I'll have a new credit history in Canada.
