Private student loans for continuing education without guarantee.?
I have 19 years of age still live at home with my parents and studied UCSB continuing education program. I currently take classes through IU and the plan of moving to Santa Barbara in the fall but it was too late to apply that a normal student therfore only going to be in the extension program for a semester. However, I am having trouble finding a loan to pay for this semester, as the FAFSA does not help. I have no collateral and little credit. I have bad credit, but only in good condition with a bank (the bank only / I've gone through credit card). Any ideas or suggestions on which bank should I go through? I ideally need a 10,000 loan without collateral.
Do not borrow to make a continuing education program … it's a waste of time and money. Save your loan eligibility (and money you will pay) for college credit classes that actually count toward your grade. Take the opportunity to work and save some money so they do not have to take as much student loans. Not be eligible for a private student loan without collateral to their age. Your only option is to do your FAFSA now, wait until you come to a program college credit is not a continuing education program. Keep in mind many schools offer classes at different start dates …. You could watch the college schedule again and see if they have classes that start at different times of the traditional 16-week semester. Many schools enroll PPL in college classes regular until three days after classes begin! If you can only afford to class 1 .. so that instead of cont ed program …. even in a university COMMUNITY premises.
