Joe answers:

Have you ever heard of TERI loans? (stands for the Education Resources Institute) I actually work with them, it’s not a bad program. You might be able to do it by yourself, the requirements are:
You must be a lawful U.S citizen or permanant resident that has resided in the US for the last two years
You must have 2 years of continuous employment
You must have 21 months of good to satisfactory established credit history
If you want more information on the loans you can call 1-800-255-8374
Good luck and I hope it works out for you!

How can I get a loan for school without a cosigner?

I’m faced with $200 school bill on top of car, insurance, gas, living expenses and I need help but am unable to get a loan without a cosigner. I would use my mom or dad but both of them have really bad credit and the financial services guy through my school said it wouldn’t be approved if my cosigner had a bad credit score.

What do I do!? please I am under so much stress right now icon sad Your Questions About How To Get A School Loan Without A Cosigner
$200 a month is school I mean!

Joe answers:

Have you already maxed out your federal loans? Did you fill out a FAFSA? Federal loans are not based on credit history.

Otherwise, ask another relative.

Paul Your Questions About How To Get A School Loan Without A Cosigner

Paul asks…

How to get student loan without cosigner/credit?

I’ve searched everywhere for answers to this question, with very little results. Here is the situation, I cannot possibly pay for my college tuition without loans. All of the search results say “federal loans” and I have exhausted this option, but my federal loan doesn’t even cover half of my tuition to school. Private Loans seem to be the only route I can take…… With this being said…. My parents REFUSE to take out the Parent-Plus Loan, or cosign any of my loans. How am I suppose to get a loan for school without a cosigner? Because there is nobody that I have to cosign. I have worked full time since high school and still am having troubling saving up the 13,000 it is a semester for a state school.

Any Suggestions/Thoughts would be great!

Joe answers:

Look in your area for scholarship sponsors. You may have to interview and/or write a paper or something … But it could certainly help you out.
