Your Questions About Personal Loans Unsecured

Richard asks…
are there unsecured personal loans to start a business?
are there unsecured personal loans to start a business?
Joe answers:
Rarely you can get approved for an unsecured business loan, because a business loan is rarely less than $10,000 and lenders (private or conventional banks) need some form of collateral. But there are exceptions.
If you have an extremely sound business plan and strategy you can sometimes find a private lender that will be happy to lend you the start-up capital – with strings attached. You will usually have to give the investor a percentage of the Company’s future profit, or give them shares if you are planning to have a share structure, with a shareholder’s agreement.
A typical small-business start-up loan is secured by a home-owner’s equity.

David asks…
Where is best place to get personal unsecured loans?
I am looking to consolidate all my bills and be able to bring my three grandcholdren here for X- Mas. My credit is considered poor score575. I have tried CITI, Capital One and they won’t lend me any money. All my bills are current and have been for a long time. I spent 6 months unemployed and it killed my credit even though I was only a user on the accounts .
Joe answers:
Once you’ve repaired your credit by making your payments on time, not using all your credit, and reestablishing good credit management you will be able to get a loan from almost any company. In the mean time I would go to your local bank and ask if they offer any type of loan to individuals who are trying to re-establish good credit.
